Compassionate & experienced understanding from both sides of the therapist couch
Hi, I'm Andy. I'm a counsellor, and I offer support for for adults and young adults struggling with anxiety
However you find yourself as you land on this page, whether you feel like you're spiralling and your mind and body are out of control or if you just don't understand what you're going through, it's ok. You're not 'broken' and you don't need to be 'fixed'.
I've been there. On both sides of the counselling relationship. From periods of my own struggle to helping clients through theirs.
My counselling space is somewhere you can feel safe and heard.
I strongly believe that the relationship we build together - being able to trust, talk openly and be honest - is one of the most important parts of healing.

I believe that everyone deserves access to professional mental health support in a safe, confidential, and compassionate environment. My mission is to help individuals overcome challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues through tailored, relational counselling sessions.
Following a career in the private sector I have worked with Manchester Mind, MSV housing and Southway Housing trust to deliver talking therapies across social housing communities alongside my private practise.
Having retrained as a counsellor I have so far accrued the following qualifications.
BACP Approved Level 2 & 3 certificate in counselling studies.
BACP approved Level 4 diploma in therapeutic counselling.
Certificate in applying attachment theory in counselling.
Certificate in working with the inner child.
BACP certificate in trauma informed practise.
I am committed to providing a high-quality private counselling service that empowers you to take control of your mental well-being. Every person I see is a unique individual and you deserve a counselling approach designed to meet your specific needs. My practice is built on an integrative approach, prioritising our relationship as key in unlocking whatever it is you may be stuck with currently.
